Thus, a fast information processing and exchange has turned to be a mandatory term now. Information Technology is the only option at this juncture to provide an incremental model of growth.
Now Information technology has become a quiet matured science with a versatile characteristic of its self-generalisation. Therefore, it addresses a relatively wider activity area and audience than any other subject. It is the only area of human knowledge that is based on knowledge processing and management combining both art and science with sufficient intellectual aesthetic. It therefore, conceive a knowledge based global society which is modern interpretation of humanity. Knowledge begets peace, progress and prosperity along with the tranquility in human relations.
Like many other institutions of national repute, we at J.D. Women's college, encourage students for their all-round preparedness to face the forthcoming challenges of time. Information Technology is a critical part of the business process that can require technical competence beyond the scope of the current management giving rise to new concepts of outsourcing of business.
The burgeoning with growth in business and industry caused by growth of internet has made information technology and essential ingredient of success of an enterprise in any sector of business and industry. With this aim in mind our course provides a solid foundations in principles and practices of information technology, there by meeting ever changing technological and industrial needs of today. We focus also on enhancing students critical analytical and problem-solving abilities to design and develop the system and application needed in the fields of information and communication technology.
Our curriculum also aims to bridge the gap between industry and academics. The programmed emphasizes sound theoretical knowledge as we al extensive practical training in order to keep student as well as faculty abreast with state-of-art technology. Seminars, workshops, corporate interactions are organized regularly to enhance and supplement the knowledge base of the students.
